Honorary Consul Wojciech Strzałkowski

Wojciech Strzałkowski was born in 1960, he is the President of Board of a few companies, including MTC Plus, and in some other companies he holds the position of the Chairman of Supervisory Board (including Biaform SA, Jagiellonia SSA, HB Projekt sp. z o.o. i TV Białystok sp. z o.o.). In all those enterprises he holds significant, and often majority interests.

He is a born resident of Białystok. He completed his education in the Secondary School of Electrical Engineering and then his studies at the Faculty of Electrotechnical Engineering of Białystok University of Technology. In the years 1983-1985 he worked as a contract labourer in a textile factory in East Germany.

In the middle of the 1980s he returned to Poland and with his present partner Wojciech Wasilewski he established a company producing audio and video cassettes. Then he went away to the U.S.A.

Upon his return from the U.S.A. he set up Multi Trade Company. The company performed varied activities, but its real success came with wholesale of beverages. While managing his company he took advantage of his experiences from the U.S.A.

I observed different solutions there, and then I could introduce them in my company. However, I soon understood that a greater knowledge is needed for the company to develop.

He commenced studies at the Białystok Business School, and then at one of the most renown Polish private universities – The Leon Koźmiński Academy of Entrepreneurship and Management, Diploma Management Studies at Warsaw School of Economics followed by two years of MBA at The Leon Koźmiński Academy of Entrepreneurship and Management.

The studies helped me to understand that one can influence himself by acquiring new areas of knowledge and by knowing and understanding ever more.

Another passion of Wojciech Strzałkowski is Jagiellonia football club. He is its great fan, but he also invests in the club. Together with other shareholders he sits in the Supervisory Board of Sportowa Spółka Akcyjna Jagiellonia Białystok, and – as he says – he set himself a goal to build in Białystok a strong Polish football A-league team.

Recently I have been looking with more optimism. There are more and more people who wish to suport Jagiellonia. We also have some significant successes in the year of 90th anniversary of the club: POLISH CUP 2010 and POLISH SUPERCUP 2010. Second year in a row (2010 and 2011) Jagiellonia Białystok has been taking part in the selection matches for UEFA Europa League.
